Finally!

 

Easter and it has been sunny all weekend! First bbq for this year, relaxing, sleeping in, watching movies and trying to do as little as possible. Spending the weekend at the summer house, with half a meter of snow around the house. So much snow during the easter weekend feels a bit weird, but after all we do live in Sweden... Now after the weekend it's time to do everything that needs to be done. Study and work!

 

After some hectic weeks in school I finally have some kind of "holiday". I still have to study for exams, write essays and I don't know what, but at least I can do it without having to go to school for lectures and seminars every day. I started out my "holiday" by working and shopping and I plan on relax a lot during the following couple of weeks. The snow is melting every day and then it freezes again every night, seems like the snow won't be completely gone for a while... It's getting warmer, but it's still cold to be the end of march. I hope that it soon will change completely and be spring for sure! Even though it's still cold and snowy I'm very happy that it's sunny almost every day! :)

 

 

Back in the part of life where I really have no time for anything. I'm studying, studying, studying, and yeh, studying! I've had my first exam and right now I'm writing essays and reading more than I thought was possible. Except all this I got sick last week and have had a fever for some time. I was just lucky I didn't have any deadlines in school during those days because all I did was to sleep in front of a bunch of movies. I've seen Skyfall, Niceville, Searching for Sugarman, Savages and a few more. Apart from being sick and study I've also had the chance to go and see two movies at the cinema during the last month or so, Cloud Atlas and Kon Tiki. 

 

The last two weeks the sun has been shining over Stockholm every day and it really feels that the spring is just around the corner even thought it's still below 0 most of the time. Waking up early and go to school or work is so much easier when it's not so dark outside. In just a few weeks it's already easter and after that spring is normally here for real!

 

 

With not so much free time right now it's impossible to do everything. I'm studying, working and trying to find time to do everything else. To be in university sure is different! Every day passes really quickly and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad sign right now.

 

 

31st of January

 

Wednesday, the day in the middle of the schoolweek and the day when it has so far been hardest to get out of bed. I'm so tired and just hoping to get used to being up early, go to school everyday and study when I get home really soon! I have now had my first lectures and te first seminar as well and I truly am surprised by this course. Here I thought I would learn more english and just improve the language but instead we're just talking about how you learn a language, chop sentences into pieces and if drink, drunk, drinking and drank is one or more than one word. I really had no idea what I got myself into while starting this course... Some things are so confusing while other are basics, a real mix of everything and hopefully it will all be clearer in a few more weeks...

 

I have now started University. The lectures and semenars havn't started yet, just some introduction so far so I can't really say much about it. Hopefully I've chosen right and if I have not, then it's not the end of the world. "Because every little thing, is gonna be alright", isn't that right? Besides spending time at my new university I've been working out a bit, just relaxed and also yesterday I went to the cinema with a friend, we saw Life of Pi and it was such a wonderful story! I love when a movie you see turns out to be so different from all the other movies you've seen before! Life of Pi was one of those movies and I'm very happy I did go to the cinema to see it :)

Christmas and New Years is over for this time and I'm home again after spending 2 weeks in wonderful Cape Verde. What I thought was going to be 2 weeks of just reading books in a sunbed turned out to be so much more and those 2 weeks felt like half a lifetime, absolutely amazing! Since I came home I've been working, hanging out with friends and in less than a week I start school, university to be more exact. It feels.. I don't really know how it feels to be honest. I've decided to try something out and see if it's for me and that's exactly what I'm going to do.

 

Life is giving you a special gift. It takes you places and makes you feel all different kinds of things and you never know what will happen tomorrow. For now I'm amazed by everything and I hope it will continue like that for a long time.

This year during a saturday night I went to a halloweenparty dressed as the devil.

I was happy with my costume and it barely cost anything since I had most of it at home.

 

I have not been to Aquaria in many years but thought it was a good time to go there with a friend who was visiting Stockholm. Said and done. Here are some photos from the rainforest in Aquaria.
